We sold the 50% shares from MP Print Ltd .The owner is MP Print general manger
The production of paints started again at MPF Chemicals factory. The production of paints has great tradition at the Barcs located factory. At the beginning of the 80’s Kemikál was the biggest East-European paint factory. MPF Group has bought the factory up in 2009, and now this factory is the biggestEast-European building chemical factory. Based on the existing expert knowledgeand technologies, the factory can continue this tradition from 2011, completing the Group’s existing painting tool program.
The paints –similarly to the other MPF products – soon will be available on the shelves of the major DIY stores and Hypermarkets.
From the middle of this year MP Meta will not only deals with machinery tools, but trades with machines also. The new machine program will firstly include drilling machines and angle grinder machines, and later will flare with other products also.
Not only the new machine program will be introduced by MP Meta. The company will also attache to its existing tool program a wide assortment of bolts and nuts, nails and spikes.
Despite of the economic slowdown, the consolidated profit of MPF Group achieved more than 8 million € at the end of 2009 !
MPF made a successfull consolidation at its new company, MPF Building Chemicals factory. The operation become profitable, and our biggest partner, Henkel gave us orders for new products also. The new products can be applied mainly on the market of renovating houses and flats.
.Similarly to last year, in this year MPF Group applies conservative strategy to ensure its development. This strategy is the deliberation and development. This is even more adequate for the domestic market started, wich started quite well, but the swing was still under requirements. With this new startegy, new markets and new partners our company can struggle successfully the recession.
Never miss a good crisis! – well known and frequently repeated slogen. Many economist say that in crisis it is time to develop. There are many examples to prove theslogen. A good example can be our strategic agreement with Henkel. MPF Groupnot only acquired the factory of building industry cemical products, but according a long term supply contract MPF will supply Henkel.
Amongst our product groups, Rhino seems to be the most successfull int he first nine months of this year. The main reason is that this product group has an excellent price-value relation, and our customersin the DIY segment turn to an economic and reliable brand. According to ourexperience our customers can get a pruduct that is worthy to buy. This brand will remain the flagship of our product portfolio, meanwhile our other brands have their place on the market also.
Altough earlier we produced our flap discs in our chinese factory , we decided to produce these items in the future in Hungary. The reason is simple: The machinery and the capacity of our hungarianfactory is adequate for the supply. The recent events of the global economy showedthat some products are worth to produce in Europe. By doing this we excluded the risk because of the long and sometimes uncertain delivery time, so our partners can always get the products in time.
Our previous results shows another succesfull year in 2008. The result of the group reaches the 8 million €, most of all thanks to the contribution of Rhino and Clarflex product groups. The EBITDA of the hungarian companies exceeds the 4 million €. We can proudly say, that our companies are amongst the significant tax payers in the place of their activity.

One of proprietors of MPF Baja Kft., who were one of the firm’s creators, offered his business share for selling on the summer. Because the smaller co-partners did not wish to increase their share, MPF Holding LLC. bought the full share. With this his interest in the company increased 99,5%.
Already Clarflex Ltd., which seat is on Tolmács, is already the member of MPF Industry Group. The company product abrasives paper and cloth and grinding tools, too. His activity complet well the activity of the company group's old member, MP Widenta Ltd.. With his it became possible for us to offer a full assortment to our clients, even if they turn to us with very special requests.
Our shoppers got used to the fact that qualitative fence elements on an available price can be bought at us. We reinterpreted our assortment surveying this. We bring the distribution of some tired products to end and we introduce new ones instead of them. Those products naturally constitute grounds for our supply in the future too, they rejoice popularity since theirs introduction.
It is sad news all for our partners all for us that the passing of the Ráckeresztúr logistic centre's extension is late. The modified deadline is the front of 2009. summer instead of his 2008. autumn. The reason of this though the authorities' tardiness, which appears in a modification of deadlines.
The company group's industrial park in Baja was significantly embellished in the course of months. The office building, the reception, the dressing room and the canteen got to a renovation. The finishing touch is made on the showroom, too. Our colleagues already take pains over the production of the new pointing pieces. A new hall's plans are drawn up beside all this.
Those people who often visit the industrial disctrict of Baja City, can see numerous buildings in very bad condition, built decades ago.Unfortunately, one of them is the huge site of Baja-Outlet-Pláza Inc.In order to change this on the „general look” , a large scale renovation is being issued by the company.Within the same project the office building, two warehouses and two factory halls are also being renovated/upgraded.According to the plans, the project will be finished by may 31
In today’s
world it is inevitable, that a company flexibly adopts changes.Following this
the Baja-Outlet-Plaza Inc. changing it’s name. One of the way to utilize the
available areas is to build shopping centers, however this will not solve the
usage of the remaining areas, which has to be managed by the company also. According to the new plans the name of the company will change to MPF BAJA Logisztikai és Ipari Park Inc.
Thanks to the
EU accession, the transport of goods is more easy between the members. With the
accession of Romania, the long spooling and administration disappeared on the
eastern border.
One can hear
everywhere: the energy prices are going up. This increases of the prices of all
consumables also. The situation is getting worse because of China. All
multinational companies make produce in China. Int he beginning there was cheap
energy, labourforce and products. Now as the world depends on them, its time to
pump more money to their own economy, so the prices are raising. This cause
price increase everywhere in the world.
The MPF Group member Bajai Borovi Kft merged with the Baja seated Gadolf Bt. Gadolf Bt was founded by two local carpenters in 2003. This allows to the new company to enlarge its activity and increase the capacity. Though Gadolf Bt was founded for unique and low series furniture production, in five years the company could grow up to execute complete interior decoration works. Gadolf Bt carries out not only kitchen furnitures, wardrobes, shop furnitures and stairwasy, but also builds plasterboards, coatings, paintings, paperhanging and rigging out electricity. The new company will keep all the activities of Bajai Borovi Kft also – fir furniture production, CNC operated works, door and window production and paneling. After the merge of the two companies the new company will operate under the name MP GADOLF Kft.
